LUMI – light wooden phone cases & protective cases
made from natural white birch | iPhone, Samsung, OnePlus, Pixel, Realme

A February morning when snow has fallen overnight and no one has yet walked across it. That light. LUMI is a light wooden phone case made from genuine natural white Nordic birch – the shade is not painted on, it is grown. The subtle grain pattern runs through the surface, and no two are the same, because no two birches are the same. Fits iPhone 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, Samsung Galaxy, OnePlus, Google Pixel and Realme models. We support the latest models right after launch – including iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37, plus Google Pixel 10a. Add MagSafe or engrave a name.

If you have been searching for white phone cases and only found glossy plastic that turns yellow by the end of the first summer, here is another route. LUMI is part of Lastu’s wooden phone cases – you can also find other tones in the Design Case collection.

Material: Genuine birch – natural white

Shade
Lumi
  • Natural white birch – no paint, no print, no plastic sprayed white. Just the wood’s own shade.
  • Light, almost unnoticeable lacquer – repels dirt and water. The light surface handles daily life better than you might think.
  • Every wooden phone case is unique in its material – the grain pattern is the fingerprint of the birch the Case was cut from.

Structure and protection

+ Textured edge profile – birch gives the back surface a natural grip. Wooden phone cases stay firmly in hand without slipping.
LUMI wooden phone case – textured birch edge keeps the phone secure in your hand
+ Raised edge protects the screen – place your phone on the table without the screen touching it. Drop protection tested →
LUMI wooden phone case – raised edge protects the screen, the glass does not touch the table
+ Raised camera frame – the lens stays lifted, not in table dust. The camera stays crisp.
LUMI light wooden phone case – raised camera frame protects lenses from scratches
+ Slim and lightweight. Birch is naturally lighter than most fully plastic phone cases – barely there in your pocket, beautifully present in your hand.
+ MagSafe compatibility available – wireless charging and magnetic accessories at full power. MagSafe and your own logo →
+ Engraving or your own image – a name, date, symbol or logo as a contrast on light birch. Engraving options →

Not from stock. Made in the Nordics, to order.

The purest form. Nordic birch.

LUMI is a wooden phone case at its most stripped back – no extra color, no finish that hides the wood. Every Case is made to order in Finland from genuine Nordic birch. It is slower than shipping from a warehouse, and that is exactly why your Case is no one else’s. Read Lastu’s 15-year story →

Surface Birch’s natural white shade as it is. A light lacquer repels dirt and water – the wood grain shows through beautifully.
MagSafe Available for all models on the product page. Does MagSafe need a Case?
Engraving Dark engraving on light birch – a beautiful contrast. It appears black in the preview, and in the finished piece it follows the birch’s own tone.
Durability What do wooden phone cases go through? Tests and real-life experiences.
Production Finland. 2–10 days. Nordic phone cases made to order – no stock production.

MagSafe – snap and go

MagSafe compatibility can be selected directly on the product page. The magnetic ring aligns the charger and add-ons firmly into place.

Protect the screen – LEKA screen protector

LUMI brings a wintry, natural white forest to the back of your phone. Let the same clarity continue onto the screen: LEKA screen protector is a precision-cut protective film that keeps the glass clear and scratch-free – more durably than tempered protective glass.

  • +Precision-fit screen protector – a protective film laser-cut exactly for your phone model (iPhone, Samsung, OnePlus, Pixel). Not a ready-made shelf product, but made to order for you.
  • +Nano PET, not tempered glass – flexes and does not crack during installation like protective glass. No scratches, no yellowing, full touch accuracy.
  • +2 pcs / €14.90 – two screen protection films for the price of one protective glass protector. The other stays as a spare.

Frequently asked questions

What does an engraving look like on light LUMI birch?

It shows as warm brown, because the laser burns the mark into the wood. The tone varies with the density of the wood from light to dark brown – that's natural, not dirt.

Large filled areas can look patchy, so choose the Line drawing or Outline style for logos. Thin lines and text reproduce most precisely.

Should I order my photo as a colour print or an engraving?

A colour print reproduces the colours of your photo, and light LUMI is the best base for it. An engraving is single-colour but resists abrasion far better, because it sits in the wood rather than on top of it.

If your phone lives in a trouser pocket, a print can wear over time where fingers and pockets rub.

Does a light wooden case turn yellow like clear silicone?

Not in the same way. Birch can darken slightly with light and use, but it doesn't go cloudy yellow like plastic. The surface is lacquered to repel water and dirt, and everyday grime wipes off with a damp cloth.

What if the engraving or image is missing from my finished case?

That's a manufacturing error and we fix it free of charge. Send a photo of the case and your order number to info@lastu.co and we'll make you a new one – no need to return the old case.

When will my LUMI case arrive?

Your case is made to order in 2–10 days and then takes 2–5 working days to arrive. Free shipping is an untracked letter – choose tracked shipping at checkout if you want a tracking code.

Does LUMI work with MagSafe chargers and accessories?

Yes, when you add MagSafe (+€5). A magnetic ring is then built into the case, and the KRIP finger grip and KARB card wallet snap on – on Android phones too. Without MagSafe, wireless charging still works but magnetic accessories won't hold.

What our customers say

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 937 reviews.

Kuori on hieno, laadukas ja tuntuu hyvältä kädessä. Materiaali toki on sellainen, että alkaa käytön jäljet näkymään. Alkaa haalistumaan niistä kohdista mistä puhelinta useimmiten pitää kiinni.

Customer photo review of KELO – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

Kuvaan luonnon kauneutta ja Lastu sopii siihen mainiosti, puhelimesta saa hyvän otteen eikä luista käsissä, yksi tähti pois koska reunat saisivat olla vähän pehmeämmät. Tyylikäs ja hyvin istuva, kestävyys selviää aikanaan.

KELO – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

Kiinnitys parempi ns. Popsoketissa. Jospa nyt toimisi pidempään eikä menisi käytössä heti väljäksi. Onneksi olette kehitelleet saranaa uudeksi

TERWA – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

HIILI – Puhelimen kuoret mustasta koivusta

Kuoret on erittäin toimivat, napit toimii hyvin, ainut miinus oli että korttikotelo meni vähän kameran eteen, mutta sekin kääntyi positiiviseksi, tekevät uudet kuoret ja entiset saa jäädä varalle. Erittäin hyvää palveluu, laatu tuote. Korttikotelo ja sormipidike tuli kanssa mukaan tilaukseen.

TERWA – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

TERWA – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

HIILI – Puhelimen kuoret mustasta koivusta 🇫🇮

KELO – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

KAAMOS – Puhelimen kuoret aidosta koivusta
