Terms of delivery – Lastu
All Lastu.co shipments are delivered via Posti. We deliver orders both to Finland and internationally.
Free delivery
- In the EU area: Free shipping does not include tracking.
- In Finland: Free delivery is letter-sized and does not include tracking.
- If you want a trackable delivery, choose a paid delivery method that includes a tracking code at checkout.
- Deliveries outside the EU are made using the EMS service, which includes tracking.
Postal parcels
Posti delivers packages either for pickup at the nearest pickup point or directly to the recipient's address.
- Notification by text message or email: the package can be picked up for 7 days.
- Notification by letter: the package can be picked up for 14 days.
- Undelivered packages will be returned to the sender at the sender's expense.
Tracked letters
Registered letters and cash-on-delivery items are delivered for pickup at a Posti service point.
- Express letters are delivered to the recipient's address as regular delivery.
- Storage period: 14 days. After this, the letter will be returned to the sender free of charge.
International parcel delivery
International packages are transported quickly to their destination. In most countries, the package is delivered directly to the recipient, but in some countries, pickup takes place at the local post office.
The delivery instructions are followed as follows:
- Undelivered shipments will either be returned or destroyed, depending on the sender's instructions.
- The sender is responsible for ensuring that there are no export bans or restrictions on the product in the destination country.

- Finnish Postal Act (domestic letter shipments)
- Universal Postal Union agreements (international shipments)
- Carriage Contract Act (parcels)
- Posti's general terms and conditions
Nearby self-service
The customer can send a parcel from one parcel locker to another. An arrival notification will be sent to the recipient by text message. Pickup time: 7 days. Parcels not picked up will be returned at the sender's expense.
Field service
The sender can order Posti to pick up the package directly from the front door. The package must be prepaid and packed. The service includes one pickup. Posti may charge an additional fee if the pickup fails or if the time or location is changed.
A typo in the recipient's phone number can be corrected free of charge at the sender's request.
Right to cancel delivery service
A private customer has the right to cancel a delivery ordered through the online service within 14 days in accordance with the distance selling provisions of the Consumer Protection Act. If the shipment has already been delivered, the payment collected will not be refunded.
