Real birch, tarred birch and camouflage fabric stand apart from a plastic case the moment you hold them, and because every case is cut to order for your exact phone model, the buttons and cutouts line up just right. The criticism is usually about production time — handmade to order takes longer than picking from stock — and the fact that the wood tone varies from piece to piece. What we get criticized for
Production time. Every case is made to order in Northern Finland, and it takes 2–10 days before the package even ships. If you need a case by tomorrow, we’re probably not your match.
The wood tone varies. Birch is a natural material: no two cases are ever identical, and the shade may differ from the product photo. For some, that’s the whole point; for others, it’s a surprise.
Price. A handcrafted Nordic phone case costs more than an off-the-shelf plastic case. In return, you get a case that often outlasts your phone — and no one else has one quite like it.
Transparency
How reviews are collected
- Automatically: Loox sends a review request by email about two weeks after delivery.
- From real buyers: the request is sent to the customer who placed the order — reviews are genuine, not written by AI.
- With photos: customers can add their own photo to a review, and many reviews do include photos.
- After use: we recommend leaving a review only after you’ve used the product for a couple of weeks.
If there’s something wrong with the product, we hope you’ll contact customer support first. Most things are solved faster with a message than with a review — and we fix our mistakes.

Are the reviews genuine?
Yes. Reviews are collected via Loox with an automatic email about two weeks after delivery, and they are written by real customers — not generated by AI. Customers’ own photos are included too.
How long does an order take?
Production takes 2–10 days, followed by delivery in 2–5 business days. Standard models are at the shorter end, while personalized phone cases and rarer phone models are at the longer end. You’ll receive a tracking code by email as soon as the package ships.
What if the phone case doesn’t meet my expectations?
Products have a 14-day return policy. Personalized products — phone cases ordered with your own image, logo, or engraving — cannot be returned or exchanged, because they are made just for you. This does not apply to manufacturing defects: we’ll always put those right.
Can a wooden phone case survive a drop?
The phone case frame uses shock-absorbing TPU, while the raised edge and camera ring keep the screen and lens off surfaces. The wood is on the back — it’s not the case’s load-bearing structure.
Can I leave my own review?
Yes. You’ll automatically receive a review request by email after your order. If the message has gone missing, send us a note via customer support, and we’ll resend the link.

It did take a while to arrive (I'm in Finland) but it's great quality. The wood feels soft and the rubber is very comfortable. The design is engraved on, very very nice. I added a ring grip as well. It's very sturdy and comfortable. It can rotate easily. I'll be back for more. I hope Lastu adds more phone models in the future.
Tilaan aina lastun kotelon kun vaihdan puhelinta. Tämä on itselleni toinen kotelokierros. Tärkeintä minulle on taustamagneetilla oleva pidike jolloin puhelinta voi pitää kädessä helposti yhdellä kädellä tai sitten puhelimen voi laittaa pöydälle ja katsoa siitä videoita tai lukea ohjeita. M05 maastokuviointi on harrasteista tuttu ja siksi myös heitinmiehen logolla varustettuna. Mitä tähän sanoa, parasta.

Ostin jo toiset Lastun kuoret ja näissäkin todella kiva tuntuma ja kuosi. Ainoa miinus näissä uusissa on, että sivuissa on pientä väljyyttä puhelimen yläosassa ja millin verran näkyy puhelimen oma väri sivuissa.
Laadukkaan oloinen ja kaunis kuori
Kuoret toimineet kuten pitää. Magneetti vaikuttaa riittävän lujalla, jotta voi luottaa korttikotelon kortteineen pysyvän matkassa mukana.
Lastun kuoret jo toisessa puhelimessa! Pysyvät hyvin paikallaan ja pitävät puhelimen ehjänä. Ja onhan nämä nyt omalla kuvalla customoituina aika uniikit!
