Three things keep coming up in reviews: the feel of the material, the fit of the phone case, and the fact that the case is genuinely your own. Real birch, tarred birch, and camouflage fabric stand out from a plastic case the moment you hold them, and because every phone case is cut to order for your exact phone model, the buttons and cutouts line up properly. Criticism usually comes from production time - made-to-order craftsmanship takes longer than picking from stock - and the fact that wood tone varies from piece to piece. Both are conscious choices, and we explain them openly below.

What we get criticized for
Production time. Every phone case is made to order in Northern Finland, and it takes 2-10 days before the package even ships. If you need a phone case by tomorrow, we’re not the right choice.
Wood tone varies. Birch is a natural material: no two phone cases are ever identical, and the tone may differ from the product photo. For some, that’s the whole point; for others, it’s a surprise.
Price. A handcrafted Nordic phone case costs more than a plastic case picked off a shelf. In return, you get a phone case that often outlasts the phone itself - and no one else has one quite like it.
Transparency
How reviews are collected
- Automatically: Loox sends the review request by email about two weeks after delivery.
- From real buyers: the request is sent to the customer who placed the order — reviews are genuine, not written by AI.
- With photos: customers can attach their own photo to a review, and a large share of reviews include photos.
- After use: we recommend leaving a review only after using the product for a couple of weeks.
If there’s something wrong with the product, we hope you’ll first contact customer support. Most things are resolved faster with a message than with a review — and we fix our mistakes.

Frequently asked questions about reviews
Are the reviews genuine?
Yes. Reviews are collected through Loox by automatic email about two weeks after delivery, and they’re written by real customers — not generated by AI. Customers’ own photos are included too.
How long does the order take?
Production takes 2–10 days, and delivery after that takes 2–5 business days. Standard models are at the lower end of that range, while customized phone cases and rarer phone models are at the higher end. You’ll receive an email when your phone case ships. Free letter delivery does not include tracking – you’ll get a tracking code when you choose tracked delivery at checkout.
What if the phone case doesn’t meet expectations?
Non-personalized products have a 30-day return period. Customized products — phone cases ordered with your own image, logo, or engraving — cannot be returned or exchanged because they’re made exclusively for you. This does not apply to manufacturing defects: we’ll always sort those out.
Can a wooden phone case handle a drop?
The phone case frame uses impact-absorbing TPU, and the raised edge and camera frame keep the screen and lens off surfaces. The wood is on the back — it is not the phone case’s load-bearing structure.
Can I leave my own review?
Yes. You’ll automatically receive a review request by email after your order. If the message has gone missing, send us a note via customer support, and we’ll send the link again.

Tervan tuoksu oli alkuun hyvin voimakas mutta rauhoittui jo parissa päivässä oikein miellyttävälle tasolle. Erittäin asiallinen kotelo!
Ihanat kuoret ja niin hienon väriset.
Eniten tykkäsin tervaisesta tuoksusta. Lisäksi kameran linssien välit on suojattu tässä mallissa. Jos jotain olisin kaivannut, niin parempia kuvia puhelimen näytön puolelta. En löytänyt mistään sellaista kuvaa tilausta tehdessä, josta näkisi paljonko mustat muovireunat kohoavat näytön reunoilta ylöspäin. Hyvien kuorien yksi merkittävä tekijä on myös näytön suojaus tältä osin. Suojaus oli hyvin samanlainen kuin realmen mukana tulevien omien kuorien osalta.
Huikea tuote, kotikulmien kartta kuoressa niin löytää aina perille 😁

Kauniit ja laadukkaan oloiset kuoret :)
Persoonallinen ja ikioma. Musta kuori oli heti must, mutta valkoinen iPhone näkyy kameranlinsseille jätetystä kolosta vähän ikävästi. Toinen alakulma vähän väljä, taskusta otetettaessa loksahtaa pois paikaltaan. Kokonaisuus kiva!
Upeat kuoret joihin ei jää sormenjälkiä ja sopivat loistavasti yhteen panssarilasin kanssa. Ehdottomasti voin suositella!
Kuvat vastasivat todellisuutta, tukeva ote, magneettinen korttikotelo vaikuttaa toimivalta. Tyylikäs ja laadukkaan oloinen.
Kuori on todella tyylikäs ja sain sen juuri sen näköisenä kuin halusinkin. Pieni kehitys ehdotus olisi se, että kuoren reunat voisivat olla vähän korkeammat reunoilta, jotta ne suojaisivat näyttöä paremmin. Itse käytän panssarilasia, mutta silti toivoisin tuota pientä päivitystä kuoriin.
Kuori näyttää ja tuntuu hyvältä. Ensimmäisellä vilkaisulla toki huomasin, että puun liimaus muovikuoreen ei ollut ihan onnistunut. Varsinkin kameran ympärystä, missä puuta on vain 2-3mm leveydeltä, repsotti osittain irti muovikuoresta. Lisäksi kuoren alareuna oli hieman irti, mistä syystä puun vaalea reuna näkyi, kun kuorta katsoi latausportin suunnasta. Painelin siis heti alkuun puuosuutta muovia vasten parhaani mukaan, että se liimautuisi uudelleen ja ainakin toistaiseksi se on pysynyt muovissa kiinni.(Noin 2pv käyttöä takana). Hieman arveluttaa, että miten kauan. Toiseksi, magneetti/metalli rinkula tai laseroitu kompassikuvio keskellä kuorta, ei ole keskellä. Heittoa sivusuunnassa on toki arviolta vain 1mm, eikä täten vaikuta mihinkään, kuin ainoastaan OCD-mieleeni. Tämän huomaa siitä, että mainittu kompassikuvio ja rinkula eivät ole täysin kohdakkain. Voihan toki olla, ettei näin ole tarkoituskaan. Kaiken kaikkiaan kuori on kaunis ja mukavan tuntuinen. Muovikin vaikuttaa laadukkaammalta kuin puhelimen mukana tullut silikonikuori. 4/5

Tyylikkäät kuoret, hyvältä näyttää ainakin uutena. Kumiosat voisi olla ehkä aavistuksen pitävämmät, kun meinaa lipsua tosi kuivilla käsillä.
Eipä muuta kerrottavaa ku että aivan mahtava lopputulos. Tilasin semmoset tummat puukuoret ja tilasin semmosen tosi yksityiskohtasen kuvioinnin ja tuli iha jokasta pilkkua myöden täydellisenä kotiovelle asti. Iso suositus👍

The case itself is very nice to hold. It has just the right amount of grip. The print is very detailed on the light wood and it has a nice contrast to the wood. The patterns seem like they have been carved into the wood but they actually aren't which is kind of a nice illusion. Also the smell of the used materials is rather pleasant.

Kuori on laadukkaan oloinen ja juuri sellainen, kuin kuvassa.
Erinomainen kuori. Puhelimen näppäimet toimivat paremmin kuin Applen omissa kuorissa.
Kuori on hieno, laadukas ja tuntuu hyvältä kädessä. Materiaali toki on sellainen, että alkaa käytön jäljet näkymään. Alkaa haalistumaan niistä kohdista mistä puhelinta useimmiten pitää kiinni.
Ne vaan on hyvät 👍
Kuvaan luonnon kauneutta ja Lastu sopii siihen mainiosti, puhelimesta saa hyvän otteen eikä luista käsissä, yksi tähti pois koska reunat saisivat olla vähän pehmeämmät. Tyylikäs ja hyvin istuva, kestävyys selviää aikanaan.
