WORDS – phone cases with your own text & engraved
1–12 words on birch | iPhone, Samsung, OnePlus, Pixel, Realme

A few words are enough to tell whose life this is about. WORDS is a phone case with your own words – 1–12 words engraved on genuine Nordic birch. Kids’ names, a family motto, your dog’s name, a life rule, or that one sentence you would not say out loud. They travel with you every day, and no one else needs to know what they mean. Fits iPhone 17, 16, 15, 14, 13, Samsung Galaxy, OnePlus, Google Pixel and Realme models. We support the newest models right after launch – including iPhone 18 Pro and iPhone 18 Pro Max, Samsung Galaxy A57 and Galaxy A37, and Google Pixel 10a. The best gift: write your own words and create a phone case no one else has.

If you’re looking for personalized phone cases and don’t want a sticker or print that wears off in six months, engraving is the lasting choice. The best wooden gift for someone important – or, honestly, for yourself.

AI arranges your words – always different, always yours. The machine handles the layout, you decide the meaning.

How it works

01

Write 1–12 words

Names, words, motto, slogan – whatever you like. Finnish, English, both. No limits. Your words, your story.

02

AI arranges the layout

AI turns the words into a stylish word pattern – different sizes, different angles, beautifully balanced. The live preview shows the result instantly.

03

Engraved on wood

The words are engraved on genuine Nordic wood – a wood-toned engraving that won’t fade. Black in the preview, the wood’s own gold in the finished case.

Frequently asked questions

How many words can I engrave on a SANAT case?

1–12 words or short names. They repeat across the whole back until the surface is full. You can adjust density and font, and the Shuffle button rearranges the sizes and directions of the words.

Will the engraving match the preview exactly?

Yes. Each shuffle is saved with your order, so we engrave exactly the layout you saw in the preview. The colour is the wood's own tone, from pale yellow to golden brown.

Can I use special characters like ä, ö or accents?

Finnish and Nordic letters and common punctuation work. Emojis and pictograms can't be engraved in the SANAT pattern. For an image or symbol, choose a wooden case and add it as your own image.

Do you check the spelling before engraving?

We don't alter your text – it's engraved exactly as you type it. Check names and spelling before ordering. If you spot a mistake afterwards, email the correction to info@lastu.co straight away – we can change it if production hasn't started.

Which wood tone shows the words best?

On dark birch such as black HIILI or blue KAAMOS, the engraving appears light and contrast is strongest. On light LUMI the words show in warm brown for a softer look.

When will my SANAT case be ready?

Your case is made to order in 2–10 days and then takes 2–5 working days to arrive. Free shipping is an untracked letter – choose tracked shipping at checkout if you want a tracking code.

Personalised cases can't be returned, but we always fix manufacturing defects.

What our customers say

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 937 reviews.

Kuori on hieno, laadukas ja tuntuu hyvältä kädessä. Materiaali toki on sellainen, että alkaa käytön jäljet näkymään. Alkaa haalistumaan niistä kohdista mistä puhelinta useimmiten pitää kiinni.

Customer photo review of KELO – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

Kuvaan luonnon kauneutta ja Lastu sopii siihen mainiosti, puhelimesta saa hyvän otteen eikä luista käsissä, yksi tähti pois koska reunat saisivat olla vähän pehmeämmät. Tyylikäs ja hyvin istuva, kestävyys selviää aikanaan.

KELO – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

Kiinnitys parempi ns. Popsoketissa. Jospa nyt toimisi pidempään eikä menisi käytössä heti väljäksi. Onneksi olette kehitelleet saranaa uudeksi

TERWA – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

Helvetin hyvä tuote! On tyylikkäät ja kestävät kuoret, jotka saa räätälöityä juuri oman näköiseksi! Magsafe toimii erittäin hyvin, paremmin kuin muissa kuorissa Yllätyksekseni sai jopa oman kaiverruksen lisättyä, joten nykyään kuorissani komeilee lapseni piirustus

Teppo V. 5/5 Verified

HIILI – Puhelimen kuoret mustasta koivusta

Kuoret on erittäin toimivat, napit toimii hyvin, ainut miinus oli että korttikotelo meni vähän kameran eteen, mutta sekin kääntyi positiiviseksi, tekevät uudet kuoret ja entiset saa jäädä varalle. Erittäin hyvää palveluu, laatu tuote. Korttikotelo ja sormipidike tuli kanssa mukaan tilaukseen.

Jouko S. 5/5 Verified

TERWA – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

Jämäkät ja hyvännäköiset kuoret. Ainut miinus että menevät niin lähelle näytön reunoja että näytönsuojakalvo meinaa puhelimen nurkista irtoilla.

Mikko K. 4/5 Verified

TERWA – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

Lastun kuoret herättää huomion. Aito puu on lämmin käsitellä eikä ole liukas, kuten muovikuoret. Puun syyt näkyy värjäyksestä huolimatta ja yksilöllinen kaiverrus varmistaa, että toista täysin samanlaista ei tule vastaan.

HIILI – Puhelimen kuoret mustasta koivusta 🇫🇮

Odotukset olivat melko korkeat ja kuori pääsi silti yllättämään positiivisesti. Puinen tausta ja kumiosat vaikuttavat kulutuskestäviltä. MagSafen osalta tämä oli minulle ensitutustuminen, ja se vaikuttaa tuovan mukavasti lisää käytettävyyttä.

Jukka H. 5/5 Verified

KELO – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

Ystävällinen ja henkilökohtainen palvelu. Yhteydenottoihini ja kyselyihini vastattiin nopeasti sekä tiedotettiin kuorien valmistumisesta ja lähettämisestä. Tukeva ja suojaava kuori, mukava ja käteen sopiva kuminen reunus.

Matti H. 5/5 Verified

KAAMOS – Puhelimen kuoret aidosta koivusta

Puinen takaosa on erittäin tyylikäs ja oma "custom logo" on juuri sellainen kuin pitikin. Lisäksi kuoren kehys on erittäin hyvä käteen ja siitä saa pitävän otteen.
