KAAMOS – Phone Case Made from Genuine Birch

Design yours

Up north there are weeks when the sun never rises – and yet the sky glows a deep blue. KAAMOS is genuine Finnish birch, dyed in exactly that shade: dark as the sea in daylight, almost black under a lamp. Every birch grain shines through the colour in its own way, so no two cases are alike. Carry a piece of polar-night blue with you.

51 days when the sun doesn’t rise — and yet the color deepens

KAAMOS — blue wooden phone cases with a Nordic edge

In the North, there’s a moment when the sun stays below the horizon for weeks. Yet the sky is not black — it’s a deep, glowing blue that outlines the snow and forest edges. That shade is called polar night blue, and this phone case is named after it. KAAMOS is genuine Nordic birch, dyed in that same night-blue tone.

If you’ve been looking for wooden phone cases that aren’t pale and predictable, here’s your answer. KAAMOS is dark, steady, and a little stoic — like us in November. And because it’s wood, you can engrave something permanent into its surface: a name, coordinates, or the Nordic coat of arms — the Nordic lion, like on the Pixel model in the image.

Why choose KAAMOS

01

Night blue that comes alive in the light

The deep polar night blue looks like dark sea by day and almost black under a lamp. The color is absorbed into the wood, so every birch grain glows through it differently.

02

Nordic lion and other engravings

Add a Nordic coat of arms (the Nordic lion), a name, or your own design as a laser engraving. Golden cream on the wood surface — permanent, not a sticker or print.

03

Design it and see it instantly

The live preview shows your engraving and text in real time before you order. You get exactly what you saw on screen.

04

MagSafe available

Add MagSafe when ordering. Wireless charging works, and accessories snap into place — like the KRIP 2.0 ring grip in the image.

Nordic phone cases made to last

Lastu has been making handmade phone cases in the Nordics since 2011 — for over 200,000 customers and backed by more than 9,000 reviews. We don’t make for stock. Every phone case is made only after you order it, just for your phone. Raised edges lift the camera and screen off the surface, so your phone rests on the table without the screen touching.

Birch

Northern, slow-grown, hard. The grain pattern is every phone case’s fingerprint.

Kaamos blue

The color soaks into the wood, not just the surface. It deepens with use, it doesn’t wear off.

Finnish Lion

Finnish coat of arms laser-engraved — carry the North with you every day.

Frequently asked questions

What does the Finnish coat of arms look like on KAAMOS?

The lion is engraved into the wood as a light line, so it stands out brightly against the deep blue. Engravings from our collection, including the coat of arms, are free on wooden cases.

Does MagSafe cover the engraving on KAAMOS?

The MagSafe ring sits in the centre of the case, and the ring in the live preview shows exactly where. Check before ordering whether your engraving overlaps it – to keep it fully visible, move it above or below the ring.

Does KAAMOS look black?

In daylight KAAMOS is a deep midnight blue. Under lamplight it can look almost black. The birch grain glows through the blue, so the surface changes with the light.

What if my blue case has a stain or the engraving is missing?

Both are manufacturing errors and we fix them free of charge. Send a photo and your order number to info@lastu.co and we'll make you a new case.

Will KAAMOS arrive in time for a gift?

Your case is made to order in 2–10 days and then takes 2–5 working days to arrive. Free shipping is an untracked letter – choose tracked shipping at checkout if you want a tracking code.

Order volumes rise before holidays, so allow two weeks then.

Which phone models does KAAMOS fit?

KAAMOS is made for every iPhone, Samsung, OnePlus, Google Pixel and Realme model listed in the product page menu. If your model isn't listed, we don't currently make a case for it. Send your request to customer service – we log every request when choosing new models.

What our customers say

Customer Reviews

Overall rating: 4.8 / 5 from 938 reviews.

Kuori on hieno, laadukas ja tuntuu hyvältä kädessä. Materiaali toki on sellainen, että alkaa käytön jäljet näkymään. Alkaa haalistumaan niistä kohdista mistä puhelinta useimmiten pitää kiinni.

Customer photo review of KELO – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

Kuvaan luonnon kauneutta ja Lastu sopii siihen mainiosti, puhelimesta saa hyvän otteen eikä luista käsissä, yksi tähti pois koska reunat saisivat olla vähän pehmeämmät. Tyylikäs ja hyvin istuva, kestävyys selviää aikanaan.

KELO – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

Kiinnitys parempi ns. Popsoketissa. Jospa nyt toimisi pidempään eikä menisi käytössä heti väljäksi. Onneksi olette kehitelleet saranaa uudeksi

TERWA – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

HIILI – Puhelimen kuoret mustasta koivusta

Kuoret on erittäin toimivat, napit toimii hyvin, ainut miinus oli että korttikotelo meni vähän kameran eteen, mutta sekin kääntyi positiiviseksi, tekevät uudet kuoret ja entiset saa jäädä varalle. Erittäin hyvää palveluu, laatu tuote. Korttikotelo ja sormipidike tuli kanssa mukaan tilaukseen.

TERWA – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

TERWA – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

HIILI – Puhelimen kuoret mustasta koivusta 🇫🇮

KELO – Puhelimen kuoret tervatusta koivusta

KAAMOS – Puhelimen kuoret aidosta koivusta
