Material: Genuine birch, deep autumn red
- Dark red Nordic birch – a deep, warm autumn-red tone with the grain showing through. Wine red in daylight, almost brown under a lamp.
- Water-resistant, non-toxic lacquer – meets EN 71-3 requirements (the same safety level as children’s wooden toys).

Lastu was founded in Oulu in 2011. For over 15 years, we’ve made every case to order – not for stock, not for shelves, not in bulk. When a case is made only after it’s ordered, not a single piece ends up as waste from unsold inventory. It’s the simplest way to make less unnecessary stuff – and also the reason you’ll have to wait a few days for your case.
The birch in the RUSKA case comes from FSC-certified Nordic forests. For every case, up to 1 kg of plastic waste is collected from nature through our PlasticBank partnership.

Within the Nordic region: letter delivery to your mailbox without tracking €2.00 — free on orders over €19. Small parcel to your door via Posti €4.90, or pickup from a Posti pickup point; these delivery options include tracking.
