KRIP 2.0 – MagSafe finger grip and desk stand
A finger grip that holds — and comes off
KRIP 2.0 is an aluminium MagSafe finger grip and desk stand. It clicks onto any MagSafe case, takes daily use and leaves no adhesive residue when you change cases.
What is KRIP 2.0?
KRIP 2.0 is a magnetically mounted finger grip that also works as a phone stand. It attaches to the back of the case with a MagSafe magnet — not glue, not tape — so it moves from case to case in seconds and lifts off completely for wireless charging. The body is black aluminium, and the ring is sized so it folds out into a stand in both portrait and landscape.
The build in short
- Material: black aluminium. Not plastic — and it doesn't feel like plastic in cold weather either.
- Durability: rated for 10,000 folds.
- Mounting: MagSafe magnet. Fits every MagSafe-compatible case regardless of brand.
- Removal: slide it sideways, so the magnets are never pulled straight apart.
- Two functions: finger grip and desk stand, portrait and landscape.
Three uses, one accessory
One-handed grip
Phones have grown, hands haven't. One finger through the ring and the phone stays put while you scroll or shoot standing up.
Desk stand
Fold the ring out and set the phone down. Works for video calls, recipes and watching, without a separate stand.
Moves between cases
Change the case with the season or the phone — the grip follows. No glue, no residue, nothing new to buy.
Why a magnet instead of glue?
A glued grip is a one-time decision: it stays on the case you press it onto, it covers the magnet area and it blocks wireless charging. A magnetic grip solves the same problem without the permanence.
| Feature | Glued grip | KRIP 2.0 |
|---|---|---|
| Attachment | Adhesive pad on the case | MagSafe magnet |
| Wireless charging | Blocked until removed | Works once you lift the grip off |
| Moving to another case | Needs a new adhesive pad | Seconds |
| Marks on the case | Adhesive residue | None |
| Stand | Rarely stands upright | Portrait and landscape |
Compatibility
A stronger hold on Lastu cases
KRIP 2.0 attaches to any MagSafe case. On Lastu's own cases the hold is noticeably firmer, because the magnet ring sits right at the surface rather than deep inside the shell — there is no extra material between the magnets.
Remember to select the MagSafe option on the case product page. Without the magnet ring the grip will not attach, even if the case is otherwise the right one. See how MagSafe works →
Frequently asked questions
Does KRIP 2.0 fit cases other than Lastu's?
Yes. KRIP 2.0 attaches to any MagSafe-compatible case or magnet ring. On Lastu cases the hold is stronger because the magnet sits closer to the surface.
Does wireless charging work with KRIP attached?
No. The metal grip sits on top of the charging coil, so take it off while charging. Removal takes a second and it clicks straight back on afterwards.
How do I remove KRIP correctly?
Slide it sideways rather than pulling it straight off. The sideways movement releases the magnets gently and does not stress the surface of the case.
Does KRIP 2.0 work on an Android phone?
It does, as long as the case has a MagSafe magnet ring. Lastu fits the ring into Samsung, OnePlus, Google Pixel, Nothing and Realme cases too.
