Design your own phone case – how it works
Four choices, one case
Lastu cases are made to order, so nothing is decided in advance. You pick the phone model, the material, your own photo or engraving and the MagSafe option — and you see the result in a live preview before you order.
How does your own photo end up on a phone case?
You upload the image on the product page, move and scale it into place, and see the result in a live preview before ordering. The image is printed or engraved straight into the material — no sticker, no film under the edges. The case is only made after the order, following your choices, which is why production takes 2–10 days and delivery a further 2–5 business days.
How ordering works
- Pick the phone model. iPhone, Samsung, OnePlus, Google Pixel, Nothing Phone or Realme. New models join the range shortly after launch.
- Pick the material. Birch in several shades, genuine military fabric, a carbon look or a design print. The material decides how the image will finally read.
- Upload an image or write your text. A photo, a company logo, a map or a single word. Move and scale it freely — with your fingers on mobile.
- Choose MagSafe. An optional magnet ring that opens up the accessories: wallet, grip, stand and wireless charging.
- Check the preview and order. The preview shows every choice at once, so there is nothing left to guess.
What does the image go onto?
The material is not just a colour — it decides how your image looks on the finished case. Birch grain shows through the print; military fabric gives a matte surface and a grippy hold.

Photo, engraving or text?
| Method | How it looks | Good for |
|---|---|---|
| Printed image | Full colour and sharp, with the birch grain showing through | Photos, colour logos, graphics |
| Laser engraving | Burned into the wood, single tone and understated | Names, symbols, line art, minimal logos |
| Your own text | Clean typography where you place it | A name, a date, a sentence, a call sign |
| Map | The map pattern of a location you choose | Home town, cabin, a place that matters |
Who orders a personalised case?
Individuals order a memory, a pet or a drawing of their own. Companies order logo cases for staff and as corporate gifts — see the business cases collection. Clubs, teams and bands order batches carrying their own emblem.
If it's a gift, allow time: the case is only made once the order is in. See gift ideas →
Protection
Personalisation costs nothing in protection
A personalised case is structurally identical to a standard one: a raised lip around the screen, a raised camera frame and an exact fit for the model you picked. The image goes onto the surface, so it adds no thickness and takes nothing away from the structure.
You can add the LEKA screen protector to the same order. The protection measurements are covered in Drop protection and thickness.
Frequently asked questions
What kind of image works on a phone case?
A sharp image with a clear subject and a calm background. The bigger the original file, the sharper the result. A very dark or very light image should be matched to the shade of the material — a dark image reads best on pale birch.
Can I order several cases with different images?
Yes. Each item is personalised separately, so one order can contain several cases with different images, logos or phone models.
Can I put a company logo on the case?
You can. Logo cases are one of the most common orders. For larger batches and colour guidelines, get in touch with customer service.
How long does a personalised case take?
The case is made to order in 2–10 days and shipped in 2–5 business days with the delivery method you choose. Busy periods and new phone launches can push production to the upper end of that range.
Do I see the result before ordering?
You do. The preview on the product page updates in real time as you change the phone model, the material, the image or the MagSafe option.
