What kinds of phone cases does Lastu make?
Lastu makes phone cases to order from genuine materials: the back plate is either Nordic birch or authentic military fabric. Cases are available for iPhone, Samsung, OnePlus, Google Pixel, and Nothing, and each can be fitted with a MagSafe magnet plus your own image, logo, or engraving. Production takes 2–10 days, followed by delivery in 2–5 business days.

The magnet is in the case, not the phone. That’s why MagSafe-style use also works with Samsung, OnePlus, Pixel, and Nothing — the charger aligns itself, and a wallet or finger grip stays attached without glue.
How a Lastu phone case protects your phone
An impact-absorbing frame runs around the case. It does most of the work — and also decides whether the screen gets scratched when you place the phone face down on a table.
- Raised camera frame: the lens does not touch the surface.
- Raised screen edge: also protects the front from bumps.
- Matte finish: on purpose, so the case stays in your hand.
- Water-repellent finish: rain showers and splashes roll off — swimming is another story; the case is not waterproof.
- Model-specific fit: buttons, ports, and mute switch exactly where they should be.
- No yellowing: transparent silicone turns yellow during the first summer; wood darkens beautifully.

Handcrafted in Northern Finland since 2011
Lastu was founded in Northern Finland in 2011, when Sakke looked at the plastic case in his hand and thought a phone deserved something better. The Case are still designed and made in the same city, at Åström’s old leather factory — for over 200,000 customers in more than 30 countries.
We don’t sell through retailers, because then the Case would have to be made for stock, not to order. You’ll find the reasoning here, and the full story on the Lastu story page.
Frequently asked questions about phone cases
How quickly is the phone case made?
Production takes 2–10 days, followed by delivery in 2–5 business days. Standard models are at the lower end of that range; personalized Case and rarer phone models are at the higher end. You’ll receive a tracking code by email as soon as the package ships.
Is the wood real or a printed wood pattern?
Real wood. The back plate is a single layer of genuine Nordic birch, and the grain pattern runs through the surface — it’s not printed on top. Read more in the birch material guide.
Does MagSafe also work on an Android phone?
It does. The magnetic ring is in the phone case, so MagSafe accessories also work with Samsung, OnePlus, Pixel, and Nothing. More detailed comparison here.
Can I return a phone case ordered with my own image?
No. Personalized products are excluded from the right of return under consumer protection law because they are made exclusively for you. Manufacturing defects will be handled as usual. Other products have a 14-day right of return.
