Here’s how it works: With every order, we calculate an estimate of the emissions caused by delivery. Based on this estimate, we direct part of our revenue to companies that do carbon removal and have been scientifically assessed by Carbon Direct. These companies use the funds to remove the same amount of carbon as our deliveries produce. Any excess funds are used to develop carbon removal technologies.
