The story of Lastu – Genuine materials and a responsible choice 📱🇫🇮

In 2010, two friends, Sakke and Jussi, wondered if something more authentic and sustainable could be brought into the synthetic world of electronics. The goal was to create phone cases that combine technology with genuine materials inspired by northern nature. From this idea, Lastu was born—a Finnish brand built on domestic roots, quality, and responsibility.

Materials inspired by forests and nature

Lastu Case, phone covers and MagSafe cases are made from genuine, sustainably sourced natural materials. We use domestic wood, which is carefully finished with several wax treatments. The selection also includes reindeer, salmon, and elk leather as well as genuine M05 camouflage fabric. We never use endangered wood species.

Quality and individuality

From the very beginning, our goal has been to make phone cases that stand the test of time and feel unique. In 2014, Lastu was awarded the Design Deed of the Year award in collaboration with Droplet Hitech Design Oy. We are proud of the Design from Finland mark, which highlights Finnish design and expertise.

Unlike many global operators, we invest in the origin of materials. All the wood and leather we use are strictly monitored in terms of both quality and ethics. Every case respects nature and meets our high standards of responsibility.

We manufacture phone cases for iPhone, Samsung, OnePlus, Xiaomi devices, Google Pixel, Nothing Phone, and Honor phones. We also offer MagSafe cases, which are compatible with magnetic accessories. From Oulu, in northern Finland

All our products are made in the north, in the city of Oulu. We use high-quality Finnish wood, and every detail is carefully designed and crafted in our small northern Finnish factory.
